In this document, Iyive (Yiive) is listed as a Mesaka dialect along with Iceve (Bacheve, Oliti), Ugare (Messaga), Batomo (Babasi), and Caka (Assaka). Table 1. lists Mesaka and Assumbo speech forms, including Iyive. Map 1 depicts Tiv-related speech forms and neighboring speech forms throughout Cameroon.
