"...людиковское наречие не было признано официально, и преподавания на нем в школах и в вузах Республики Карелия не осуществлялось. Исключением являлось с. Михайловское, где в 1990-х годах людиковское наречие преподавали в школе, но вскоре преподавание прекратилось. В настоящее время основными формами по преподаванию языка являются языковые кружки и ежегодный языковой лагерь (Ilmori), но этого недостаточно для его сохранения. Деятельность по развитию и сохранению людиковского наречия карельского языка до настоящего момента осуществлялась исключительно силами энтузиастов."
